Shopping for a Camry right now means dealing with a model-year changeover. Toyota.ca has moved on to the 2027 Camry, but Toyota Canada had not published official 2027 MSRPs at the time of writing, and the site notes that 2026 inventory is limited. So what do Toyota Camry prices actually look like? Here are the official 2026 numbers, what each grade includes and how to think about a 2026 versus a 2027.
Official 2026 Camry prices
| Grade | Drive | Power | MSRP | Estimated vehicle price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SE | FWD | 225 hp | $34,575 | $38,256 |
| SE Upgrade | FWD | 225 hp | $36,625 | $40,306 |
| SE Upgrade AWD | AWD | 232 hp | $38,270 | $41,951 |
| Nightshade AWD | AWD | 232 hp | $39,397 | $43,078 |
| XLE AWD | AWD | 232 hp | $45,225 | $48,906 |
| XSE AWD | AWD | 232 hp | $45,330 | $49,011 |
Toyota Canada's estimated vehicle price adds freight and PDI, the A/C charge, and maximum dealer and other fees to the MSRP, for a difference of $3,681 on every 2026 grade. Taxes, licence, insurance and registration are not included.
For context, Toyota priced the 2025 Camry, the first year of the current hybrid-only generation, from $34,300 MSRP. The 2026 SE's $34,575 represents a $275 increase.
What each 2026 grade gets you
SE FWD: $34,575
The entry Camry is a well-equipped hybrid sedan. It includes an 8-inch Toyota Multimedia screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six speakers, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, mixed fabric and SofTex upholstery, heated front seats, a power driver's seat, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless charger, five USB ports, Smart Key with push-button start, 16-inch alloy wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 and Blind Spot Monitor with Safe Exit Assist are standard.
SE Upgrade FWD: $36,625
For $2,050 more, you get 18-inch alloys, a moonroof, an enhanced Smart Key system, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and a garage door opener.
SE Upgrade AWD: $38,270
The same equipment plus Toyota's Electronic On-Demand AWD, which uses a rear electric motor and raises output to 232 hp. The AWD premium is $1,645, a modest price for added all-weather traction.

Nightshade AWD: $39,397
New for 2026, the limited-production Nightshade builds on the SE Upgrade AWD with 19-inch black alloy wheels, Midnight Black Metallic trim on the door handles, mirror caps, spoiler, antenna, grille, diffuser and rocker panels, and gloss black badging. It is offered in White, Supersonic Red and Midnight Black Metallic, for $1,127 over the SE Upgrade AWD.
XLE AWD: $45,225
The comfort grade brings leather, heated and ventilated front seats, a power passenger seat, driver memory with linked mirrors, a 12.3-inch screen, nine-speaker JBL audio, a head-up display, Digital Key, a panoramic moonroof, rain-sensing wipers, 18-inch wheels, the Panoramic View Monitor, Traffic Jam Assist, Front Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, Parking Support Brake and a driver monitor camera. Dark Cosmos is a new XLE-exclusive colour for 2026.
XSE AWD: $45,330
The sporty flagship has largely the same technology as the XLE, plus 19-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. For 2026 it also gained a driver's seat memory system, linked side mirrors and rain-sensing wipers. It costs just $105 more than the XLE, so the choice between them is about personality, not budget.
2026 or 2027?
Toyota.ca's 2027 listings show four models: SE FWD (with an available Upgrade package), SE Upgrade AWD, XLE AWD and XSE AWD. Horsepower, wheel sizes and core features match the 2026 models. The most clearly documented difference is connected services:
- 2027 advantage: Remote Connect is a five-year trial, versus three years on the 2026 listings.
- 2026 advantage: the 2026 XLE and XSE come with a three-year Drive Connect trial, versus three months on every 2027 model. Drive Connect powers cloud navigation, the "Hey Toyota" assistant and, on the XSE, Traffic Jam Assist.
Without official 2027 prices, we can't tell you how much more a 2027 will cost. What we can say is that a leftover 2026 gives you a known, published MSRP, and if you plan to use cloud navigation or Traffic Jam Assist, the 2026's longer Drive Connect trial has real value. The 2027 makes more sense if you want the longest Remote Connect trial and the newest model year for resale.

Our value picks
- Best value overall: the SE Upgrade AWD at $38,270. All-wheel drive, 18-inch wheels and a moonroof for less than $40,000 MSRP is a strong combination for Canadian winters.
- Tightest budget: the SE FWD at $34,575. Pair it with good winter tires and you get a well-equipped hybrid sedan with the lowest price in the lineup.
- Best for style: the Nightshade AWD, if you can find one, for only $1,127 more than the SE Upgrade AWD.
- Most comfort: the XLE AWD. Its leather, ventilated seats and full suite of driver aids make it a near-luxury sedan.
Keep in mind that these are suggested prices. With 2026 inventory limited, availability of specific grades and colours will vary by dealer.
