3 safety recalls on file for the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC.
On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the driver-side door lock microswitch and cause it to corrode. As a result, the microswitch may fail to automatically engage the parking brake and/or the auto park feature when the door is opened. If this happens, the vehicle could roll away.
Note: This problem could also cause the radio and/or interior lights to remain on after exiting the vehicle.
A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash.
To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you should always use the parking brake when you park. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver-side door lock.

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument cluster display to go blank while driving. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales.
Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash.
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the infotainment control unit software.

On certain vehicles, the bolt used to attach the lower steering shaft to the steering gear may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connection could loosen and cause a loss of steering control.
A loss of steering control could increase the risk of a crash.
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten or replace the lower steering shaft bolt.
