2026 safety and recalls
Transport Canada1 safety recall on file for the 2026 Land Rover Rover Velar P250.
Seats And RestraintsOn a small number of vehicles, the audio amplifier may have been damaged during manufacturing.
Issue
On a small number of vehicles, the audio amplifier may have been damaged during manufacturing. As a result, the seat belt reminder chime may not work when your seat belt isn't buckled. Canadian regulations require a seat belt reminder sound when a driver isn't wearing their seat belt.
Safety Risk
A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions
Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the audio amplifier.
